Terms of Service

Updated — August 25, 2026

These terms cover your use of Klindi — the website, the dashboard and the mobile app — provided by Klindi. Using Klindi means accepting them.

Klindi is sold to organizations, not to individuals. If you reached it through your employer or client, the service agreement they signed governs the commercial relationship and these terms govern your use of the software.

Who may use Klindi

Access is by invitation. Accounts are created for named people at organizations we work with; there is no public sign-up and no self-service tier. You must be 18 or older and authorized by your organization to use the account you were given.

Your account

  • An account belongs to one person. Do not share it, and do not let anyone else sign in as you.
  • You are responsible for what happens under your account, and for keeping your password and second factor safe.
  • Turn on two-factor authentication if your work justifies it — we make it available on every account.
  • Tell us immediately if you believe your account has been compromised.

Acceptable use

Do not use Klindi to:

  • Break the law, infringe someone's rights, or help anyone else do either.
  • Upload malware, or use the product's machines to attack, scan or overload anything.
  • Reach data, accounts or workspaces you were not given access to, or try to.
  • Record a conversation without the consent the law where it happens requires.
  • Resell, sublicense or provide the product to people outside your organization, unless your agreement says you may.
  • Circumvent limits, quotas or security controls, or reverse-engineer the service beyond what the law permits.

Your content

Everything you put into Klindi remains yours — your files, your code, your recordings, your writing. We claim no ownership of it.

To run the product we need permission to do the obvious things with it: store it, back it up, transmit it, display it back to the people you shared it with, and process it through the features you invoke — including sending the relevant parts to the AI providers listed in our privacy policy. That permission lasts as long as you keep the content in Klindi and no longer.

You are responsible for having the rights to the material you upload, and for the consent required to record any meeting you ask Klindi to attend.

AI features

AI output can be wrong, and wrong in ways that look right. Review what it produces before you merge it, ship it, send it to a client or make a decision on it. You remain responsible for what leaves your hands.

  • AI features write code, open pull requests, draft boards, answer questions about a project and narrate presentations. They act on the material you give them.
  • Handing a task to the AI launches a machine on your behalf and consumes compute. Where your agreement meters that, the usage is billable.
  • We do not guarantee that any AI run succeeds, that its output is correct, or that two identical requests produce the same result.

Connected services

Connecting GitHub, Slack or a meeting platform authorizes us to act on those services on your behalf, within the permissions you granted. Those services have their own terms, and what they do with the data they receive is governed by them. You can disconnect any of them at any time from your workspace settings.

Apps you publish

Small apps published from Klindi are served at public addresses that anyone with the link can reach. You are responsible for their content, for what they do with the data of anyone who uses them, and for any secrets you configure them with. Publishing a version is irreversible: the address keeps serving what you published until you publish a new version.

Availability and changes

  • We work to keep Klindi available but do not promise uninterrupted service, except where your service agreement sets a specific commitment.
  • We may take the service down for maintenance, and will give notice where the work is planned and disruptive.
  • Features change. We add, alter and occasionally remove them; when a removal would break how you work, we will say so before it happens.
  • Features marked as preview or beta may change or disappear without notice, and should not be relied on for anything critical.

Fees

What Klindi costs, what is metered and when it is invoiced are set in the service agreement with your organization, not here.

Ending it

  • Your organization can end its use of Klindi as its agreement provides, and you can ask for your own account to be closed at any time.
  • We can suspend or close an account that breaks these terms, that puts the service or other customers at risk, or where an agreement has gone unpaid.
  • After termination we give a reasonable window to export content, then delete it as described in the privacy policy.

Disclaimers

Except where your service agreement says otherwise, Klindi is provided as-is. We do not warrant that it will be uninterrupted, error-free, or fit for any particular purpose, and we disclaim implied warranties to the extent the law allows.

Liability

To the extent the law allows, neither party is liable for indirect, incidental or consequential loss, for lost profits, or for lost data beyond what a reasonable backup practice would have preserved. Our total liability is limited to the fees paid for the service in the twelve months before the claim.

Nothing here limits liability for fraud, for willful misconduct, or for anything that cannot be limited by law.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. The date at the top of this page says when they last changed, and material changes are communicated to the affected workspaces. Continuing to use Klindi after a change means accepting the updated terms.

Governing law

The service agreement signed with your organization sets the governing law and the forum. Where these terms and that agreement conflict, the agreement prevails.
